Kitchen Pencil

The Kitchen Pencil is an intuitive combination of two generic objects. the first prototype was created by Sebastian Bergne for the Lapis – Drawing Experience exhibition. Over 30 designers were asked to rethink the wooden pencil. The results formed a collection, travelling exhibition and catalogue.

Since its first public exhibition in March 2007 and ahead of its full mass production in 2008, a small numbered edition of 15 Kitchen Pencils were made by the designer.
